Our pets are our happiness. Our pets are light and love. They are companions, best friends, and silent confidantes. Even when they are gone, we remember them forever. They deserve to have their memories honored. We should praise our friends, remember the happy times, share their beautiful pictures. You should never be ashamed or alone in your deep, love for your animal friends. And never feel bad for missing them when they're gone.

Remembering Shelby

Beautiful sweet Shelby! You left us way too soon. I became a better person because of you. I was able to give love as easily as I accepted it. You were one of my best friends.

You stayed right by my side for 14 months. It wasn't long enough, and I miss you so much! You deserved many more years to be a happy kitty. You had a rough start in this world, but you found such a happy life with us. And you brought your family joy, laughter, and light.

Your beauty was surpassed only slightly by your personality. Your desire to be petted and loved often brought with it a humorous interaction with your human family. Anytime, someone would talk to the other kitty Jack, you would immediately come running & push your way in. Because of course, no other kitty needed love more than you. :)

I miss you so much that I have been snuggling a soft stuffed animal every night since you were gone. I know that I took very good care of you, you were healthy and happy, playing happily the night before you left us. However, I just wonder why sometimes, such a wonderful kitty and friend had to go so soon!? :(

I don't know when your life started, kind of know where. I first saw you on the porch at my moms apartment in Louisiana. You immediately caught my eyes because of your fluffy fur and beautiful greenish-yellow eyes. Your eyes drew me in and I said, "Come here, kitty." You were trusting and affectionate as soon as you walked up to me.

I thought you probably didn't have an owner, when I saw you eating a greasy paper towel out of the ditch. So I bought you some cat food and thought about what else I could do to help you. You were so loving and affectionate.

So, luckily for me I took the chance on telling my hubby that I had to bring home another cat. And you joined our happy home and immediately became a part of the family! And we were happier and were filled with joy, because of you. Thank you for being a friend, a snuggle buddy, and a happy lil goofball. I'll love you and remember you forever.
